I have been writing for some time but I had not, until recently, thought of self publishing. I used to write short stories at college and in University. But I fell out of the passion in later life and that was a shame. I got the idea to start writing again when I was given, by my soon to be wife, a Nook e-reader for Christmas 2013. My eyes were opened to a new avenue of indie self publishing authors. A new world as it were. I had often dreamed of publishing some creative writing but not until that moment had the avenue presented itself.

A few months later and I had completed my first ever novel, "Reggie", which is about a group of friends trying desperately to solve the zombie crisis once and for all. I have caught the writing bug now and I have a few more projects in the pipeline.

When I'm not hammering away at my keyboard, I'm either off climbing somewhere, or off on a driving adventure.

I think my ideal job would be a presenter on top gear. I know a little about cars but not a great deal. But I guess I could learn that part. But I love their epic journeys. That's what makes me want to jump behind the wheel and drive for miles and miles. I've driven to Paris twice, Belguim a couple of times and most recently to Gibralter to see my best buddy Andy.

My dream would be to just pack up my car and head for the nearest ferry port, hit the open road and just drive until there was no more road. And then some more. Unless it was into an ocean. Obvioulsy. I doubt I'd come back.

My next project is a space epic with a twist. I don't want to say much about it at this stage because it's only in it's early stages of writing. Then comes the extensive editing process that any writer knows all too well about. After that I have a plans to write an epic set in the dark days of WWII. It is based around a story I thought of a long time ago, but it needs some big tweaking before I go ahead and try to write it.

So that's my life. I love my wife. I love my family and hers. I love my cats and I love my mates. They know who they are.
